UE4 subscription question

If I do the Sub/Cancel thing with UE4; do they have a re-sub/update model (Unsub, then at major update patches, re-sub for the patch, and then unsub again)

I think what you're asking is: if you cancel your subscription, can you re-subscribe for updates at some reduced price for major updates and/or is there a mechanism whereby you can be sure not to miss out on major updates if they come along soon after you cancel your subscription.

It doesn't look like there is any reduced update model like this - BUT, check this out.

Basically, it looks like you get a month long access when you subscribe - so, whenever you pay, you get a full month of any updates/content/etc. I edited this because, at first I thought it just meant if you paid during, say, June you'd get the whole month of June (even if you cancelled the day after you paid). However, from the updated link there, looks like it's an actual billing cycle - i.e., you subscribe day 1, cancel day 2, you're still good for the next 28 days or so.

    Does that help?

  • Yea, more or less. Just wanted confirmation that if I re-subscribed, I would get the latest updates.
