UE5 Crashes when playing in editor
My team and I are currently working on two distinct VR projects with our Meta Quest 2 and we keep getting this error on both of them. We even tried with a 3rd new project without external Plugins and the error keeps appearing.
It appears when playing in editor the second time after opening the project. The first time you click it, and it works fine, the second time UE crashes.
We tried with and without steam VR on. Quest Link is still active when UE crashes.
Last week it worked, the only difference we noticed is the version of the Meta Quest which received an update recently, but we don't know if it is possible to downgrade its version or if it is the real problem.
Sorry for my bad English, hope you can help us. Thanks.
I found a solution by installing MetaXR Plugin https://developer.oculus.com/downloads/package/unreal-engine-5-integration/51.0 4
Work with v51.0 for UE 5.1.1, when you choose other one it will write in requirements what UE version need to have.

Hello, I confirm, since the last Oculus app update 2 days ago, the second time you try to use "VR Preview" Unreal will crash. (UE 4.27) Please fix this as a priority, this is making debugging in VR impossible.

Same problem here (UE 5.1).

Same problem here
UE427plus crash when going twice in VR, function xrCreateSession Fail in OpenXRHMD.cpp
Oculus app is 59.00.138.366
Tested same code with VIVE headset, OpenXR and SteamVR (2.0.10) and no crash.
Oculus OpenXR runtime seem to be the problem.
Urgent problem as our software (WEVIZ) allow users to go into VR when they want, and all our clients have crash when going to VR a second time.... - virtualpebblePartner
This same bug is also preventing me from being able to test my project. Is there a way to roll back the Oculus app?

Same here! Doesn´t meta test drivers before forcing them on users??

Doesn't work with various other plugins though. (FireAnt, e.g.)
