What is the best way to connect with an online database

For my quest app I want to connect with an online database, for example mongodb

With windows projects I use MongoDB driver . Although the documentation tells me it can work with android, the reality is that it is not working with android.

Does anybody has some expierence with a database connector plugin which works with the quest android?

I am using the engine build from source from oculus
