Check your Windows sound settings and also the settings in the Meta Quest Link app, under Devices. Also check the sound settings in the Link dashboard after connecting your headset to your PC.
The latest Meta Quest Link PC app software update (v83) requires a separate driver update. Make sure you updated the drivers (from the pop-up message on the Home tab in the Meta Quest Link PC app) and rebooted the PC and also updated your headset to v83 UI (assuming the update has been rolled out to you already).

Well, yui.286594 you must have jinxed me, because now I'm having exactly the same problem 😬.
Link was working perfectly yesterday after the v83 update. I played Elite Dangerous via AirLink all day with no problem. Then I put my PC and headset to sleep. Today, when I start the Link dashboard, I hear the "swoosh" sound, but there is no background sound, and no menu sounds. I can't hear any PCVR games in my headset. If I switch to my PC headphones, I can hear the PCVR games. So, it seems that the Oculus Virtual Audio Device or the Audio Processing Object is misbehaving, even though Windows Device Manager shows that "the device is working properly".
I tried powering off my PC and headset and restarting. I also tried reinstalling the updated Oculus drivers in "C:\Program Files\Oculus\Support\oculus-drivers" and restarting the PC, but AirLink still has no sound 😢😢😢.
I guess the temporary solution is to wear a pair of headphones connected to the PC and wait and see if Meta fix this in the next Meta Quest Link update.
