After updating to v83 i can confirm link no longer freezes after 15-20 minutes

as its now every 10 **bleep**ing seconds, sorry to those who i gave hope that meta would actually fix something in an update, or at the very least, not break it further, and to top it all off, there's now no link audio at all, this has to be some out of date april fools joke

    I'm sorry to hear that you have been experiencing really bad performance and freeze issues during link sessions since updating to v83 .  If you can also provide the following information below that would be most helpful.

    Provide a detailed description of the issue you're experiencing.

    Describe what you saw or what went wrong.

    Expected Results:
    Explain what you expected to happen instead.

    Test Environment:
    Include relevant information such as:

    • GPU used
    • PC specifications
    • Connection type (Wi-Fi or Ethernet)
    • Headset in use
    • Headset version (can be found using this link)
    • PC Link App version (found in desktop app, under Settings > General > Bottom of page)

    Additionally, please provide any relevant pictures and logs using our Horizon app, and  log-gatherer tool under the diagnostics folders.

  • It's naive of us users to believe that any update will actually improve our quest Devices. Meta's goal is to collect, sell and use our data. The only features in Quest devices that will always work flawlessly is the data collection and sending, everything else is just a "bonus". Meta will never fix anything in their software, they will only make it worse. Updates will only break the device, as this is within Meta's interest. They are not our friends: we are just their milking cows, and they want us silent.
