Link not connecting, hanging on loading screen

As the title, i can connect to my pc via the MS app, and remote desktop, but not via the PC Link. Have tried and exhaused all troubleshooting I can find to no avail, unable to use any PCVR for last two days.

  • I found that after the last Link update, some of the internal Link settings have been changed. Have you tried using the OculusDebugTool to check your Link settings? I had disabled Asynchronous Spacewarp and Sliced Encoding, but the update re-enabled or changed these settings and caused severe problems for some of my PCVR games until I set the settings back to what I had previously.

Went and tried this, reset all the setting back to default, which resolved the issue. this included ASW, default encoding, and reduced the bitrate to 200. Thanks for the tip.

It's not defective, it's probably related to your set up on the pc.  Maybe you could return that? Lol. I'm just kidding. Seriously though, the issue is the connection between the headset and your computer. Some setting is likely wrong and as steve_40 says, contact Meta support. There are also a lot of comments on this and some with solutions. So look around, you might find a fix for your problem. Good luck! 🤞🤞
