quest2 fade region malfunction

before the this update, when my body started to go outside of the preset stationary boundary, the screen would gradually blur, and the real-world pass through view would blend with the virtual screen. This fade function used to work evenly from the center of the screen outward.

However, after the update, the fade now appears in an uneven shape.

For example, when watching a movie in Sky box, the center of the screen used to stay fixed no matter where I looked, and the fade would spread evenly from the center to the edges. But after the update, the fade is no longer centered based on where I’m looking and becomes unbalanced.
The upper part of the view fades less and stays darker, while the lower part becomes more blurred.

I tried cleaning the lenses and changing the settings, but the issue doesn’t go away.
Please tell me how to fix this.

I am having the same issue.  I've tried changing the settings but they revert back.  Can anyone respond to this?

Thanks for replying. Sounds like you’re dealing with the same issue too.
I especially rely on the fade effect when watching 3D movies. It blends the passthrough view and the movie screen in a balanced way, making the experience feel much more realistic. That’s why the change in the fade area after this update has been extremely uncomfortable for me.

Before the update, the fade always started from the center of the screen outward, no matter where I was looking, because the view was fixed to the center. But after the update, the fade area is no longer fixed to the center — it now shifts around depending on where I’m looking, and the shape becomes uneven. So I constantly have to adjust my body position or redo the view setup.

I honestly just want to revert everything back to how it was before the update
