After the Meta Link update, PC Link (Air) passthrough isn't working.

It's acting up again... I really don't know why it's been like this lately... especially when I have an important schedule coming up...

Why on earth is this happening? It's making it impossible to work...
Shouldn't they hold off on releasing updates if there are bugs in the basic functions?

  • I’m happy to help, but I’ll need more details to understand what’s happening. Put your energy into problem-solving instead of complaining.

The issue is that Passthrough over PC Link (both Air Link and USB) is not functioning correctly.

I am a developer. I own three Quest 3 units and test across five different workstations. I verified every possible scenario and configuration before writing this post.

It is simple. Immediately following the Meta Link (PC) update, PC Link Passthrough stopped working (the background renders as black).

Previously, there was a toggle in the Meta Link menu (Beta) to "Enable/Disable Passthrough over PC Link." That option has been removed, and it seems the feature is failing to activate properly—likely stuck in a disabled state due to the UI change.

  • Adding in while I see you have it fixed, was gonna link to the SDK if not, but had to read the rest forums are annoying on loading all, that Support has stated multiple times that engineers see this as a functional update which means they have 0 interest in fixing it since to them its just user complaints and feedback is suggested for future updates, which is just belligerent and completely sad. All I can say is make a direct thread for others and make mention for it for future stuff. Meta support does NOT care despite what some here might tell u to do. I'm over 400 emails in from the beginning of december. Their attitude is the laziest I've ever seen for a company so large. I've provided them the fixes/workarounds for even adding to the PTC build but their comment on PTC is that if they do and it breaks things it would reflect badly on them, which is just absolutely shocking, welcome to a company where you're the beta tester.

The only helpful response support gave was to purchase a vive vision focus if I wasn't happy not having face tracking on my qpro. Imagine...lol

But yeah definitely do NOT feel bad about complaining, they don't read the forums, nor do they care, its why u rarely see anything from there here to begin with.
