My Meta Quest 3 Does Not Work With Link After Updating Meta Horizon PC App

Hi...

After updating meta link app on my PC, my quest doesn't show anything anymore! Its in a black screen but something weird is All movements, including the movement of the headset itself and the joysticks, are detected on the PC. For example, when I play the game Beat Saber, I can clearly see the movements of the headset, joystick, and even the clicks on the buttons in the game on the monitor, but nothing shows on the headset! I did these things:

1 - Reinstall Meta Link PC app

2 - Change my windows and update it to the latest version when i see updating meta link app doesn't work!

3 - Try my quest 3 on a different PC

4 - Try Air link

5 - Tried Steam Link, Virtual Desktop and ALVR

6 - Updated my graphic card driver

And I did all of the fixes in the internet and what grok and chatgpt said!!!!

BUT it still does not work for me after updating Meta Link PC App!!!

I recently found that Oculus VR Library Service doesn't start, when I start this on my services i get error that i send in an image

    I recently found that Oculus VR Library Service doesn't start

    It's not supposed to. It should be in the 'Stopped' state. That is normal.

    I can clearly see the movements of the headset, joystick, and even the clicks on the buttons in the game on the monitor

    OK, so the game is running but there is no connection between the PC and headset. Are you sure you launched the Link dashboard before starting the game??????? Is the Link dashboard loading up when you launch Link from your headset?

     

  • I am having similar issue. headset not being able to connect with the new update. its really bad. cant play PC games via link. tried everything. Is there a way of reverting to old version of the meta link app?

    Wanted to check back in with you.  Are you still seeing a black screen on the headset during a link session?  If so, I am sorry that you are still seeing the issue.  

    If you can provide the following information below it can help us to investigate and resolve this issue.
