Looking to Network and Learn from Meta and Developers.

Hi, I hope you're doing well today. I'm a digital artist and animator who's been taking the liberty to learn computer sciences on my own. HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Python, etc. I'm slowly building up my knowledge base and skills with programming to blend my creative talents and problem solving with more tools; to become a creative synergist. I desire the skills and know-how to create whatever I'm inspired to at the time be it be apps, websites, VR/AR experiences, animations, AI and more.

I am posting here because I'm enthusiastic to get in touch with developers to learn from. It's one thing to take online courses (which I am), but I want to supplement my education by getting to know those with hand-on experience.

    Thanks! I have an assortment of animations on YouTube at Animated ASMR. Over the past fifteen years or so, I have worked on film adverting on social media, t-shirt companies, webcomics, 2d animations, 3d animations, small business promotional materials, and visual consulting. I've dipped, dabbled, and learned anything I could get my hands on. Now, with this new age of computer sciences booming with tools and opportunities becoming accessible to more people, I want to acquire anything I can to continue my journey.

    I haven't made anything yet via VR, AR, or XR; but I'm excited to start learning the building blocks leading up to these fantastic experiences. I've applied to the MHCP but I don't have anything to show yet.

    Honestly, looking back on my various projects like my Animated ASMR, a lot of concepts were designed with first-person viewership in mind. Extending into VR, AR, and apps would just be a natural evolution of that, but now with actual viewer interaction.

      Oh I love it. I'm a huge DBZ fan! You should at least join the Community discords server and start communicating with other creators. I have a Discord server where a bunch of us creators hang out too(if you can find it on my Discord profile under the same name. :) ) Look forward to seeing you around here and on discord and also seeing what you make!
