This year, we’ve been busy making Horizon even better for you (see everything we’ve launched this quarter). And as we wrap up 2025, we’re delighted to share a new improvement that puts even more power in your hands: item listing links are now available for all digital items.
What’s New?
You might remember when we introduced item listing links for avatar items— URLS that can be shared to your community to guide them straight to your creations, making sharing online a breeze. Now, we’re excited to let you know that you can create item listing links for:
- All in-world purchase items
- Avatar items as quest rewards
Gentle reminder: Avatar items as quest rewards are currently available to Partners who meet the eligibility criteria. If you’re curious, you can find more details in the documentation.
How Do Item Links Work?
Item links are designed to be shared anywhere— any social media, chat, or wherever you connect with your community. When someone clicks your link on mobile, they’ll be taken right to your item listing. If they don’t have the Meta Horizon app yet, they’ll get a friendly prompt to install it. On desktop, they’ll see a prompt to install the app on mobile.
