Upcoming Changes to the Creator Portal

Hi Creators,

We want to give you a heads up on an upcoming change to the Creator Portal. 

Next month, we will be migrating the Creator Portal to the Developer Dashboard – one consolidated platform to streamline management of both Horizon worlds and apps.  We are making this move to provide the framework for future improvements to your world management.  We will share more information in the coming weeks, but wanted to provide a few details in the meantime:

Same tools, new home

Our goal is to make this change as seamless for you as possible, so you will not lose the functionality you enjoy today. All the same workflows, tools, monetization features and world management experience within the Creator Portal will be available within the Developer Dashboard.  

There is also no action required on your end – the Creator Portal will be fully deprecated next month, but you will be automatically redirected to the Developer Dashboard and can immediately start managing your worlds within the dashboard.

Improved collaboration, ready for growth

This move provides a consolidated platform for future improvements and greater collaboration. As a first step, you’ll have access to a new capability within the desktop editor to grant Publisher permissions to collaborators, allowing for more flexible and faster creation and publishing.
