Why not make a facial interface that can slide its sides together and apart, with a break in the cushioning so it can move. You could take the idea of the built in glasses spacer and apply that to each side. Just put it on the top of bottom of the interface to reduce obstruction of view. I personally think it's a good idea, but I willingly accept any counter ideas.
