Hello everyone! Welcome to the new Oculus forums! As I mentioned in my announcement post, I’d like this thread to serve as a place “forums feedback”. Please let us know how you’re finding the new platform, what is or isn’t working well for you, or what you think could be even better. If you have questions about the new platform, please leave those as well. I may not be able to answer everything, but I’ll try to jump in where I can!
So… what do you think?

Seems OK so far. Not much of an improvement but maybe a little nicer to read. Only problem I have is with adding a signature (which is handy to let people know your PC setup) does not format well. It tends to follow your reply without any line buffer to keep it more separate from the replay text. My workaround right now is to add a blank line at the top. This helps but also reduces the amount of info you can include.
Anyway, good job getting this all through, thanks!

Not too shabby. Seems to flow more like a mobile app social media site. I'm sure the old forum will be missed for awhile, but this is probably something we can get used to over time. From a technical perspective, it seems to function more much smoothly than the older vanilla forums. Excited to see how we can break the new forums and reveal some bugs! 😁

Good note on the signatures. Will add that to my list of things to look into!

Different innit...

The new forum seems ok so far - my brain still needs to adapt. Most older posts seem to work and display just fine - even if the backgrounds behind quotes seem gone.
But I got a great problem - I can no longer upload images - I get the error:
"You have reached your upload limit of 1,000 images" 😭
Signatures seem to have been cut to about 200 characters instead of the previous about 480 or 500 characters (including spaces).

Yeah, signatures seem kind of broken--they get visually lumped into the body of text (same size and colour, and no separation), and the formatting is a bit broken. I deleted my signature, since it wasn't showing properly (cutting off part of the second line). I'll eventually add it back if I can find a way to make it look right.

Btw, maybe someone is fixing something - I no longer get the error about the 1,000 images.
But I still can't post images - now I get the error:
"Your post has been changed because invalid HTML was found in the message body. The invalid HTML has been removed. Please review the message and submit the message when you are satisfied."
Can't insert links either - doesn't work. So no more images, only text? 😉
I also don't see any button for adding images in the panel. Signatures are placed too close to what I'm writing here - would be great with a little more space to the sigs too.

I don't like change. Can we change it back again? 😲😂
No emojis either. That's okay if we're posting on a phone but if we're posting on a PC then we can't do things like this: 😲🤬😡🤬😡😲🤢🤮😂💩😂
