The Public Test Channel (PTC) for Quest and Quest 2 v50 is starting to roll out. Meta Quest Pro is not included in the PTC at this time. Let's use this thread for collecting feedback on it. Share your impressions and let us know if you see any issues. Please make sure to also send in bug reports along with posting here if you notice anything going wrong.

Will ghost hands return? I really don’t like the avatar’s hands, they are much smaller than my real hands and less ghostly, which causes dissonance, the new hands also have short fingers and few polygons, and therefore the ghostly hands are more realistic, closer to my real hands

What changes are there in v50? How can you rate an update if you don't know what to look for?

I hope this update finally fixes the issue of having to restart my Quest 2 every time I wake it from sleep when using pro controllers. Fixing that will make me super happy.

Vulkan rendering fails after a few seconds in our game on this version, while the game still runs,

Vulkan backend, Application Spacewarp is enabled so URP

Game keeps running as i can hear the UI buttons when i aim the contollers etc. even click on the buttons and create a lobby. but only last frame is visible (until pressin on power off/on or going outside of guardian then screen is only black) 

No visible exception or null references except this starting from this  warninglog

Enrolling in this PTC fixed Minecraft UWP crashing on Quest 2 and on desktop when launching with an Internet Link using URL minecraft://Mode/?OpenXR=true.

I also had issues with Vulkan on Oculus Quest 2 after v50. My game stopped to work after the update. Turning off Vulkan on Player Settings solved to me.

I'm using Unity 2021.3.6f1 with URP and everything used to work fine in V49.

@sa_murat did you find a fix or cause for this? We've just hit the exact same issue this week.

Quest 2, Vulkan, URP and the Unity 2021.3.x LTS.

We've spent 3 days trying to track down the cause but failed. Smaller scenes do run - including stripped down versions of our production levels - but we just can't zero in on what is actually causing the problem.

The fix from @benderlucas below works but switching to GLES is hardly a longterm solution.

Any pointers would be hugely appreciated!
