Rules on Oculus Utility Running Out of Headset?

I'm working on a project called MyDream Swift - it allows users to play DX9 and DX11 games on DK2 or CV1 in a simulated first-person mode OR a personal cinema mode, and is interfaced on the desktop to set things up. It is currently available on Steam.

Would this be acceptable to submit to the Oculus store, or do we need something that actually shows up in the headset to be valid for the Oculus store?

And a follow-up on that - would it be enough (and allowed) for the headset to display a notification to users that they must remove the headset to configure and launch their game, then put the headset back on?
