Hello Creators,
We're excited to announce the launch of the Public Asset Library, a new feature that empowers you to upload and share your own creations with the community!
Publishing your assets to the Public Asset Library is available only to members of the Meta Horizon Creator Program, whereas new Public Assets discovery is open to all Desktop Editor creators.
What is the Public Asset Library?
The Public Asset Library is a centralized repository where creators like you can upload and share assets, including objects, interactive elements, and more. These assets are categorized and made available for others to use in their own worlds.
How Does it Work?
- Upload: Publish your 3D models and Asset Templates from My Assets to the Public Asset Library. Visit the Making Assets Public page to learn how to upload your own assets.
- Categorize: Choose a category and tags for your asset to make it easy for others to find.
- Browse and Discover: Explore the Public Asset Library to find new assets and inspiration for your next project.

Discover and Engage with Assets
- Rate and Review: Help the community by rating public assets with a thumbs up or thumbs down.
- Sort and Filter: Easily find the best assets by sorting them by their rating, and filter by asset creators to explore their portfolios.
- Report Assets: If you suspect an asset violates Meta's policies, you can report it.
- Script Visibility: See which public assets have scripts attached, making it easier to find and use interactive elements in your own projects.
