Meet the Mentors: PigeonNo12
Iβve been a creator on Meta Horizon Worlds since 2021 and a mentor for the Meta Horizon Creator Program since 2022.
What started as an after-hours hobby has become my career: I collaborate with individual creators, professional studios, and brands as a technical consultant and lead developer.
What excites me about Meta Horizon is that I have the ability to transform a small idea into an immersive reality, and I can share that experience with collaborators and creators alike.
As a mentor, I help creators elevate their skills and build successful projects across multiple platforms (VR, mobile, PC).
Iβve also helped with platform feature documentation and testing. In my free time, I tinker with mechanics (check out my chess worlds!) and ride motorcycles.

Meet the Mentors: SpaceGlitterUnicorn
Hey there! Glitter here!
I've been a creator in Meta Horizon since the winter of 2021, and I was so excited to explore a brand new world with a headset.
Before that, I had been a hobbyist for a long time, creating on other platforms. I decided to pursue my passion for 3D modeling and animation by going back to school. Fast forward to discovering Meta Horizon Worlds and its possibilities!
The experience hooked me immediately. I met so many friends, making my life as an artist possible. Such a dream come true. Through collaborations, I connected with the most iconic creators. All of this led me to start creating worlds and games professionally.
Now I am happy to be here with the community, mentoring creators on how to create their own amazing worlds.

Meet the Mentors: SeeingBlue
I joined Meta Horizon in late 2021 to quickly bring my ideas to life. In November of that year, I started hosting a weekly class to help other creators do the same.
In August 2023, I was invited to join the MHCP Mentors, where I now spend most of my time helping others, writing documentation and workshops, and building my own worlds. Meta Horizon makes publishing your ideas to VR, web, and mobile devices easier than ever!
Outside Meta Horizon Worlds, I enjoy walks around the block, riding bikes, roller skates, and rollercoasters!

Title: Meet the Mentors: Shards632
I picked up Meta Horizon Worlds in late 2021, and got hooked on the creative outlet it provided. I've been building things ever since.
Early on, I conducted educational sessions in VR teaching coding, vector math, and physics. More recently, I've worked with professional VR studios on several high-profile worlds. But I also love helping the many friends I've met in Meta Horizon build great experiences!
I have decades of experience in software engineering in Silicon Valley, and I originally worked on the Virtual Reality Modeling Language (VRML) early in my career. Coming back to VR is sort of like coming home!
Outside the headset, I love backpacking in California and experiencing different cultures (and food!) through international travel.

Meet the Mentors: Tellous
I've been a creator on Horizon Worlds since September of 2020, and what excites me most about being a mentor is the chance to see growth on the platform. I truly believe Horizon Worlds has the opportunity to change the world by offering the best avenue for creative expression and connection. The ability to share my knowledge and expertise with others is incredibly fulfilling, and I hope to inspire creators to push the boundaries of whatβs possible. Whether itβs through milestones I help others reach or by helping others emerge as mentors from this process, I am excited to be part of this journey.
I started in Horizon Worlds in 2020 with the goal of creatively expressing myself through advanced scripts, mechanics, and immersive spaces inspired by my daydreams. Back then, the platform was more primitive, but it has evolved into a space thatβs almost on par with more mature platforms like Steam or the Oculus Store. As someone who comes from a web development background, Iβve been able to leverage coding languages to bring my visions to life. Today, I continue to upskill and embrace new tools and features, learning along the way to push the limits of creation. I want to share this knowledge with others to help them build the next phase of the metaverse.
What excites me about Horizon Worlds is the opportunity to pioneer within the metaverse. Even though weβre still in the early stages, the potential to shape the future is exhilarating. Through every success or failure, I believe weβre contributing to a culture of growth, learning, and innovation that will shape the future of connection and creative experiences.
I want to guide creators to grow their technical skills and foster their creative confidence. I believe in offering structured learning frameworks while being flexible enough to adapt to each personβs individual needs. By helping creators build solid foundations in both technical and problem-solving areas, theyβll be better equipped to create their own worlds, iterate, and reach new heights as creators.
In my time at VRinReview, Iβve been inspired by incredible mentors such as Ashley Briley (Ashes2Ashes2) and Erica Matthews (BubbleGumPlanet). Ashleyβs ability to listen, understand, and guide me in refining my thoughts has been invaluable, while Ericaβs βI do, we do, you doβ approach to teaching has helped me focus on reinforcing skills in a structured way. These two women have played key roles in strengthening my learning abilities, and I continue to seek new methods of development as I learn from my fellow mentors, and experts at Scout House and Meta. Also, I am married, have 2 kids, 2 cats, and a dog. My favorite games of all time are Towerfall, Overwatch, Doom Eternal, and Bugsnax.

Hey yβall, itβs Guru! I've been a creator in Horizon Worlds since 2022, and am so excited for the opportunity to share my knowledge and grow with you all!
I started off by getting obsessed with learning how to make cool things out of primitives, then bringing them to life with codeblocks, a journey that has led to me leveling up my skills as well as working with multiple studios on some really exciting projects!
It has always blown my mind the level of creativity found in Horizon Worlds. The seemingly limitless potential often inspires me to innovate, collaborate, and explore!
In this role, I want to help you achieve your visions and bring your worlds to life! Through the many facets of world creation, I can help you cross the finish line!
Throughout my life I have been involved in many creative industries, including theatre and photography. These especially have been incredibly useful as a creator, understanding the importance of world design, lighting, storytelling, and more!
