I wanted to flag two issues that are currently blocking development for many of us:
Editor stability – The desktop editor often crashes, freezes, or kicks users out of a world without warning. This makes it difficult to iterate or debug.
Avatar animation call – Calling playAvatarGripPoseAnimationByName consistently triggers a crash. Repro steps are straightforward: add the call in a script, press Play, and the editor shuts down.
Both problems have persisted for about a week and effectively halt progress on projects. Any update or workaround you can share would be hugely appreciated—this functionality is critical for creators.

Have these been reported in Desktop Editor? If not, could you report these so we can gather logs to use for debugging?

I opened an issue for #1 as well, not the best timing for these issues, considering the competition is soon to end.

Let me get this flagged.

Hi @GoodGameGomez , is it possible to roll back the desktop editor version or make a prior version available for those blocked by the crashing and scripting issues found in these past two releases? It would be great to hop on an older version and work on our worlds for the competition while the team continues to investigate reports
