We are thrilled to announce that the judging period for the Meta Horizon Creator Competition has concluded. You are now free to continue developing, editing, or republishing your worlds as you see fit - this will not affect your competition submission.

Next Steps for Creators

Take this opportunity to:

  • Enhance Your Creations: Polish your worlds, introduce new features, and fine-tune user experiences.
  • Experiment with Fresh Ideas: Explore innovative concepts to make your worlds stand out.

Mobile-Specific Bonuses

One of the compelling reasons to keep working on your mobile-focused titles is to capture the mobile-specific bonuses available to you within the MHCP program. These bonuses are designed to reward creators who excel in optimizing their worlds for mobile experiences, providing additional incentives for innovation and creativity.

Incorrectly Tagged Worlds on Horizon on Mobile

We discovered some worlds were not tagged as Optimized for Web and Mobile and are actively reaching out to the impacted creators to update the tags promptly, ensuring these worlds are searchable on mobile devices. Please rest assured that this incorrect tagging did not impact the judging process or the selection of potential winners. There is no need for concern if your world was marked VR only during the competition judging window. If your mobile world is not tagged as Optimized for Web and Mobile, please follow these steps to ensure it is tagged correctly for mobile access:

  • In the Desktop or VR Editor, open your menu and select Publish World.
  • From the menu, click the toggle next to Available Through and select All (Mobile, Web, VR).
  • Navigate to the Optimized for Web and Mobile section and toggle it on.

Winner Announcement

We remain committed to announcing the winners in June and are striving to do so by early June. Stay tuned for updates! Keep pushing the boundaries of what's possible in your worlds, and good luck!

Can I post on the discord to say that Community Manager mentioned we can now make updates? Since most of us are more active on there?.... Not sure what information from the forums we can mention and what not. Assumed this would be fine, but wanted to confirm.

Yes, you can post a link to this post. It is publicly viewable.

Dang, did not know that (I thought the creator forums was just MHCP). Is everything public then, like all the forums on here, and the discord? Is being part of MHCP mainly gives you access to the extra features like bonuses and such but no place to talk just for MHCP. Only Partners have their own discord?

Only MHCP Members can post to the forum, and all categories, with the exception of News & Announcements, are publicly viewable so that all creators have the same access to resources.

MHCP membership gives access to bonuses, monetization features like IWP, program events, some early access to certain tooling, and more.
