No, you should not make any changes to your world after the deadline until the judging period has completed.

thank you

Can a script have timed events in the code already?
would not update any assets; but the timed/event would already be there

is that allowed?

What type of timed event?

Elements in the world can change via scripting over time, but new updates via publishing are not allowed.

Is there anywhere to view examples of demo videos? This is my first world/competition/video and am not sure what is expected for the 3 minutes. Should it be just a mobile walkthrough with no edits?

Thanks for your question! Here's the gallery from last year's competition: https://mhcp-competition-2024.devpost.com/project-gallery

I'm really behind on my submission. Should I just hold off, rather than submit something incomplete?

Part of me wants to submit anyway, since it's free to participate.

On the other hand, maybe it's bad to give my world exposure when it's not ready...? I also don't want to insult the spirit of the competition with my half-done submission.

Any thoughts?

Update: I was told that it's still worth submitting because (1) it's expected that projects will vary and (2) you can use your submission materials to talk about future plans.

Yes, still submit! No harm in still getting something out there and getting feedback from your peers.

Hello! I’m wondering if there is any insight into how the judging process works/when it will occur? Also will we receive any updates at all before the end of the judging period?
