Exciting!  Good luck everyone!

One quick question:

"Be a world made for consumption in Meta Horizon Worlds using the Meta Horizon Worlds desktop editor tool."

Does this mean we can't use the VR editor for anything?

We, a team of several MHCP members, have been working on our world for several weeks. Is it eligible or do we have to create something brand new as of March 11, 2025.

We use outside tools for asset conversion for assets we legally purchased and imported into Horizon Worlds using the MHCP world 3D model import feature. Are these assets qualified to be used in this competition?

The rules are pretty specific, so I want to make sure we do not get disqualified by entering our world project if the two above questions will be a problem.

Thank you.

Hi Exo_Guid,

Thanks for your question.

The official rules require a world to be newly published on Horizon. Please note that all the other entry requirements still apply, including that the world is original to the entrant. FAQs have been updated here: https://mhcp-mobile-genre-competition.devpost.com/details/faq

So I jumped the gun and need to start over.

Please see my other message about SOUND.

But can the world have been worked on BEFORE the contest start date if it was never published?

Or can you publicly talk about your world, showing pictures and ideas before publishing?
I was planning on doing a detailed Journaling on YouTube and other social media, while my contest entry is being created.
