Impossible to find where to send a message for the meta quest support (?) so I write here, hope I'm in the right place. I'm a french user, excuse me for my poor english.
I have bought a quest 2 two week ago : Impossible to do the 1st installation process fully... stopper at the 'pair' step. I tried with 4 differents smatphones (ios & android). I have tried different wifi networks, I have tried a factory re-install of the quest2, I have tried to reinstall the meta quest apps, I have tried with an oculus acount or my facebook acount ... nothing !!! the smartphone detect the apparate code (so bluetooth is ok) and then the 'pair' is never finish ... 'connexion impossible' message.
So... I have send back the quest2 to the shop I have bought another .... and there's same result !!! So many hours lost to try to use this quest 2 !!!!

I'm using an Iphone6 (IOS 15.7.1) but I have tried with to a recent Redmi with android
I'm using a wifi netgear router (but I tried with 2 'phone partage de connexion' too)

So, I had the same problem for a couple weeks. Today I decided to try and download the Meta Quest Developer App onto my Mac and voila! It synced. Went to my iPhone and tried to sync and it works there also now. Why couldn't Meta tell us this?

Thank you very much for your response. Unfortunately, tired to not finding a solution, I had sent back the quest 2 to reseller. Hope your msg will be helpfull for others users.
