When you press the record button in MQDH 4.9, 5.0.0, 5.0.1 it does nothing. I've also had a soft lock (was unable to save or get out of the window) when attempting to change the record settings in 5.0.1 though this has only happened once.
When I revert back to MQDH 4.8 the record feature works fine.
Device I'm running has OS 71 installed.
Cheers

Hey did you figure this out? Not working for me either. v74 (all current updates applied) If you press the hotkeys CTRL-SHIFT-R it will show an error: "Unknown Error: Video recording could not be started"
Also, when I use the CAST button it does open the live footage from the headset and recording works, but it records on the headset itself not on PC. Let me know if you opened a thread somewhere else about this and received some solutions.

After some long trial and error testing I got it to record in v5.4.1 Here is how to replicate it. Go into the "MQDH\resources\app.asar.unpacked\output\native_modules\" and rename "noble_winrt.node" file to "noble_winrt.node.bak". Run MQDH and you will get a white screen. Press ALT-F4 to kill it and rename "noble_winrt.node.bak" file back to "noble_winrt.node". Now start MQDH again and try to record. It will work now until you close it again have to repeat the procedure. (Windows 11 24H2)
