100% CPU Usage EVE: Valkyrie: Unplayable

Anytime i play Eve Valkyrie, my CPU Usage blows up to 100% and my GPU utilization drops to 2-3% because the CPU can't feed it.  From what i understand, this is a wide-spread issue for people with Windows 10 x64, and Haswell CPU's.. Something to do with the power setting, although it didn't fix my problem.  All of my other games run pretty good.. Lucky's tale drops down to 30 FPS quite a bit, but it's still playable.

Here is a screenshot as well as a video. and reference links to the other threads that have this issue.. Please help me bring this to Oculus Attention and get a official response from them.

Yeah the Client is updated.. I just got the CV1 monday and installed everything this morning. Surely it would not have downloaded a old version of the game, and the Updates tab on oculus home says everything is up to date.

Also its not just Eve, it's also Adr1ft does the same thing.  Its something to do with Oculus Home or Oculus Server

This is the exact setup I have and exact same problem I am having (although not that bad). Adrift was so bad and made me so sick. Lucky's Tale does it but not nearly as bad. Eve Valkrie is really bad.. Chronos does it depending on the scene also. Did you have any luck resolving this? I emailed support to see if they could help out.

change power settings to high performance to fix alot of VR troubles

There is a known bug with performance profiles and Eve Valkyrie that causes your CPU to max out.  Just reset the defaults on your power settings and make sure to use the high performance setting like Synthetic said and you should be fine.

I am also having issues in Chronos and Adr1ft and other games. I have tried changing those setings, reset and defaulting to power. Maybe its a different issue but my character in Chronos is skipping a lot of frames making the animation look very poor and making me dizzy.

@cheatah ah, there might be a completely different issue altogether.
