2 sets of Quests 2-s bricked after automatic update - zero help from Customer Support

Hi!

I have 2 devices, both Quest 2-s (mine and my sisters) - some time ago (like 2-3 weeks ago) after an automatic update, both of them got stuck in a bootloop where the Horizon Meta-logo appears and afterwards a dark screen. I saw that there is a stickied megathread regarding the subject both on the Meta-forum, but also on Reddit so I read through them and contacted Customer Support.

After contacting Customer Support - I've probably sent 30-40 mails with my mail, adress, first- and last name, phone number, purchase receipts and everything else that was asked of me and I've been shoveled back and forth between what could possibly be the worst customer experience I've had in my life.

Depending on who picks up the mail on the other end, I've had to re-iterate things 4-5 times - it all concluded with the support sending me a link for the Quest 3 RMA-s (after I literally, in every mail spelled out that i have Quest 2-s) - so of course, my devices serial number "was not affected" by the update is the message I recieved.

I then managed to dig up the same link - but for the Quest 2-s, but the issue persists - I've tried both serial numbers and on both of them i'm getting the same error message.

Now - the headsets in questioned hadn't been used for quite some time, they bricked on the same day, both after an automatic update. It all concluded with the customer support "offering" me to buy refurbished headsets - which quite frankly, is bat**bleep** crazy considering that Meta are the ones that bricked them in the first place.

What can I do to proceed here? I live in Sweden, EU - where the consumer laws and protections are quite strict so I'm having a hard time beliving that Meta can destroy my devices (quite literally) - and then "offer" me the possibility to buy refurbished ones? Is there any other way to get assitance on this issue? I'd be more then content with a software solution for the bricked devices, I don't even need them replaced.
