2 step authentication not working

I have my authentication app in my smartphone but everytime I enter the code, it says its an incorrect one, so i cannot enter my developer dashboard and do work. Can i update my authentication code to work, download a new one for my app or what can I do?

Hello there @Jehloz94. It's defnitley not convient to not be able to access your developer account.  We want to recommend a few things to help you resolve the issue. 

 

  1. Make sure you're logged into the correct account.
  2. Log out of all account in your mobile app.
  3. Uninstall and reinstall the mobile app. 
  4. Log backinto your Meta account with the correct info. 
  5. Attempt to regain access 

 

Let's give these optons a try and see if they give us the resuts we need to fix the issue. If they don't work, we'll move on to explore other options. Hope to hear from you soon!

The problem is not with my info, my info is correct, I can attemp to login, but all codes I try from my autheticator app are incorrect.

If you can, please message us with some info, we'll get this sent over to our specialists who should be able to help out. Make sure to include the following in your PM:

 

  1. Your first and last name
  2. Your Meta account alias/username
  3. Your Meta account email address (and a good email for us to reach out to you at, if different)
