3rd sensor problem

I received my touch controllers and my 3rd sensor. The setup works well with 2 sensors but I get error messages when the 3rd sensor is added. The software setup then doesn't see any sensors at all. Any suggestions?

I don't have a third sensor (yet), but you could unplug one of the two sensors that you KNOW work, and plug in the new third sensor. If it STILL doesn't see it, you have a faulty sensor.

Other than that, it's probably a software issue and I can't help you there.

Great idea. I'll try it. Surprised that the 3rd sensor comes with a USB 2.0 extension

You need to plug the 3rd sensor into another hub. Try testing different USB ports. If I put all my sensors on the same hub it can't handle it.

Got a windows kernel error, then crash and had to reinstall oculus software and all games as I was constantly getting sensor errors 8069.  Working fine now but really really annoying. Still can't get 3rd sensor working.

Do you have all three on USB 3.0? The third sensor is supposed to be plugged into USB 2.0. They deemed having all three sensors on 3.0 would be too much for most USB controllers.

I read in Cbyer's Touch FAQ that the 3rd sensor should be connected to USB 2.0.
Problem is, I don't have any USB 2.0 ports on the back of my computer, where I like to connect the 3rd to as sonn as it arrives. But I do have 3 different USB 3.0 controllers - Intel, ASMedia and Innatek.

Does anybody have any experience with connecting the 3rd sensor to a different 3.0 controller?

Otherwise I'd have to look out for a 2.0 connection panel, which will be connected to the MB.

Cheers!
