Hi Meet0111,
We can understand that it can be annoying when all of a sudden you are not able to connect your Quests to your computer.
There are a couple things I would like you to try to see if that helps with resolving this problem.
- When checking the files there might be some problems with your GPU so make sure this is running properly and if needed update the drivers.
- Make sure that all your USB device drivers but also chipset of your computer are fully up to date.
Besides that We noticed that you are missing some files that you need to have to make sure that the application is running as it should. So What I would suggest regarding this is to repair the application to see if that resolves the problem.
- Go to https://www.meta.com/quest/setup and click Download software.
- Select Repair.
- If Windows asks you if you are sure you want to open this file, click Yes.
- If Windows Defender prompts Windows protected your PC, click More info, and then click Run anyway.
- If your antivirus software restricts the file from opening, temporarily disable your AV and continue.
- Please remember to re-enable your antivirus software once you have completed the repair.
- Allow the repair process to run, download and install.
- Launch the Meta Quest PC app
Hope this helps so you are able to connect your Quests again. But if not just let us know!

Hello
I tried to Repair it as per the step mentioned and show repair completed.
Event After the repair steps I am not able to connect Oculus Quest 2/3 devices with my PC and not showing RIFT as a device in the Oculus Link option. Error showing in Device Manager (Windows has stopped this device because it has reported problems. (Code 43). A request for the USB device descriptor failed.)Here updated Full Log from the Oculus Log Gather app: full logs after repair
Just want to inform you that, As an air link Oculus Link working perfectly, nut not working with Link Cable. I would like to use and be more comfortable with Link Cable as RIFT for more hours of development.
Please check and let me know what the is issue.

Hi there, just to confirm is this an official link cable that you are using?

I am using cable which come with Device box. The one white cable.

And just to confirm as well, the issues you are referring to are happening on your Oculus Rift headset? Or is it the Quest 2 you have previously referred to?

Issue is happening on Quest 2 and 3. I don't have Rift device but I want to say that When we try to connect cable with Quest 2/3, we see 'RIFT' as device when PC connected with Quest in Oculus Link window of device.
That 'RIFT' as a device not showing so I am not able to test Quest with wire link.
Please find attached screenshot of Device manager and previously give Full Log. Anything that can help you to fix my issue

Thank you for the information provided! If the cable came with your headset, we regret to inform that it would not be a Link Cable, these would have to be purchased separately on the Meta Store, the cable that is included is to charge the headset itself.
For more information on the official link cable, you can click here.
