There's a known problem with Oculus Link frame drops out of nowhere. You know, the ones even with the lowest resolution, 10Mbps encoding bitrate and 80% peformance headroom. I googled a lot and in different times there were different solutions. I tried ALL of them and none has worked.
But I was able to solve the problem and I've never seen this solution before and therefore I just want it to leave it here for whoever searching a solution for this problem.
So, I tried everything and eventually surrendered. I reverted my settings from ultra low back to high, I had task manager opened becuase I was experimenting with OVServer priority, which didn't help at all, but I noticed an interesting thing. Once every about 10 seconds I had a significant peformance headroom drop. I checked Task Manager and the peformance drops were exectly at the moment when the NvDisplayContainer poped up in the CPU usage chart. I quickly googled and found out that it's a useless nVidia service for some kind of telemetry. I stopped and disabled the service called NVIDIA Display Container and it solved all the problems with performance and frame drops.
