Hello Friends,
Following the update to version 34.4, the Meta browser no longer supports HTML5 AAC audio. Instead of delivering adaptive 5.1 sound as before, it now only outputs through two channels (left and right). Consequently, it's impossible to hear all dialogues and sound layers in 5.1 media content.
To verify this, I conducted a simple AAC sound test using the first link from a Google search (search term: aac test).
https://www2.iis.fraunhofer.de/AAC/multichannel.html
On my iPhone, iPad, PC, and Mac, I can hear sounds from all channels, but on the Meta Browser, I only receive audio from the left and right channels.
This issue persists even when earphones are connected.
Downloading a video from the link and playing it on the Quest 3 through the default media player or the Bigscreen app results in sound from all channels being available.
A factory reset was also performed, but it did not resolve the issue.
It would be great if someone could perform the same test on their headset.
Thank you.

I have a Plex Media Server at home - can confirm that I appear to lose the dialog (centre) channel on a Blu-Ray movie rip of Avatar: Way of Water with an AAC 5.1 audio track if I watch it using Plex via the browser ; I just get the left and right effect channels.
Playing the same movie through Bigscreen via DLNA support off the same media server, works fine.
