AMD RX480 Audio Issue

I have been experiencing issues with Audio on my main system with the Rift connected.

AMD Vishera 8 Core at 4.0

ASUS 970 Pro gaming

2 AMD RX 480's

32GB System RAM

Windows 10 Creator

When first hooking up Rift everything works great. However, and I am assuming this is due to how Windows treats the Rift , over time the Rift takes over as the default audio dievice and I lose the ability to select my AV Receiver for audio. The AV Receiver still shows in Sound in Control Panel but shows as not being plugged in even though it is. I have tried numerous versions of Radeon drivers all the way up to the 17.9.3's haven't found anything that resolves this issue. Currently on Windows base Radeon Drivers for RX480 which are currently at 17.1.1 and Oculus 1.19

Hi I have msc Rx 480 8g gaming x card and I don't have any sound problems. However I'm using my razor keyboard software to switch between sound devices as I need , so I haven't tried changing trough windows. I'm running latest crimson SW and drivers for the video card

Have you tried using a different cable to your receiver? Are you using HDMI? Have you tried another port with an adapter (such as DVI-to-HDMI, which can usually still handle audio)?

so going into the receiver is an hdmi.....the display to hdmi is going to the pc because well most video cards only have one hdmi out and this is definitely not a cable issue. This a driver issue with a conflict between the rift, my pc, and windows. So today because I didn't feel like reloading graphics drivers/audio drivers (amd rx480 with crimson drivers) I plugged in an old optical cable to the onboard sound card and hoping that the rift's audio and the pc audio can run independently. This really though is something that is very inconvenient and annoying at the least.
