Accidentally Put in wrong Date of Birth and lost access to account

Big mistake when I created my Q-3 headset account by using the wrong DOB (child). I'm 77 and can not play/buy any games other than child games.  Meta will not allow me to correct this issue.  Does anyone know any way to fix this, other than deleting my account and starting over.  I created a second account using new e-mail and password. I can log in to it but I can not add it to my original account, maybe this is because my original account is set up as a child account, not sure about this.  Using my original account in conjunction with my head set and my cell phone meta app/www.meta.com/device, I tried entering 8 digit code on my headset, I'm still unable to add this second account.  Please help!   Sam

Factory reset and add the new account info.

Have you purchased any games yet?

Reset and move on is the most logical solution

I know just enough about tech to look like I know what I'm doing.
