Accidentally clicked do not show again oculus quest link cable

I've found some answers on the forum but nothing works. Most are old so the menu display already changed. My quest knows that i connected the cable because it starts to charge, but i can only find a button to use the air link option ( that doesn't work for me because of my poor internet). So i can't play any of my Steam VR games, making my quest useless. Anyone knows how to bring the pop up back?

In version 42 the wording on the Allow access to data pop-up has changed too - now you can 'Deny', 'Allow', or 'Deny, and don't show again'.
I think if I click 'Deny, and don't show again' it'd be like always clicking Deny and I could still use the link cable for PC VR games.  But for file transfers I'll want to click Allow sometimes.  Since I don't have developer mode to toggle the enable USB connection dialogue and get the pop-up back, I'll stick to Deny and Allow for now.

This was super helpful, thank you. Lifesaver 🙂

Shameful that this isn't solved yet on the Meta side... insane.

If there is a button that shows "Deny, never ask again," why is there not a button that also says "Allow, never ask again"?

im sorry first time

Security, basically. You should always think about whether you want an external device to have full access to the filesystem on your headset.

And it should be an option if I do — I imagine most folks are connecting to their own computer to transfer files. I’d love to be asked if connecting to a new device (for whatever reason I would), but it’s nonsensical to only have an option to never allow while omitting an option to always do so.

It would also be different if there was a prompt on that came up on my phone via the meta app to authenticate. Not awkwardly and temporarily putting the headset up to my eyes enough to do so.

Ideally you'd be able to whitelist particular connections but even my phone doesn't do that so maybe it's not possible via USB.

So i just wanted to put mods on my account for blade and sorcery nomad through quest link and accidently pressed do not allow now my oculus doesn't show up on my pc anymore.

i enabled the dialog option but it still wont show up for me???
