Accidentally clicked do not show again oculus quest link cable

I've found some answers on the forum but nothing works. Most are old so the menu display already changed. My quest knows that i connected the cable because it starts to charge, but i can only find a button to use the air link option ( that doesn't work for me because of my poor internet). So i can't play any of my Steam VR games, making my quest useless. Anyone knows how to bring the pop up back?

Hi! We notice that you are experiencing Link difficulties, and your device is no longer visible in your PC. Oh no! We definitely don't want you to have this experience. 

 

Please go ahead and try the following step:

  1. Disconnect the Rift/Link cable from the computer.
  2. Disconnect your computer from the internet.
  3. Backup any necessary content.
  4. Reboot into Safe Mode.
  5. Uninstall Oculus PC app using the Control Panel.
  6. Delete all Oculus folders from the following folder:
    • C:\Program Files
  7. Remove any Oculus folders from the following locations:
    • C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData
    • C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\Local
    • C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\LocalLow
    • C:\Users\YourUserProfile\AppData\Roaming
    • C:\OculusSetup-DownloadCache
  8. Restart your computer in normal mode.
  9. Reconnect your computer to the internet.
  10. Install Oculus PC app again using the setup tool from our website here.
  11. Reconnect the Rift/Link cable and re-test the headset.

Is it supposed to take 5 GB and take forever.

this needs to be bumped to the top for ppl who have dev mode already

What a gross reply, so passive aggressive. Acting like its somehow the users fault that such an important feature is not reversible. You make bad products and offer bad support, your company is in market of monopolies not technology. I can't wait to get a better headset and never use one of your garbage products ever again. Was an obvious mistake to even give a try.

Upon enabling developer mode and going into the headset, the only options are "Boundary" and "Hand Tracking" and I've been at this for over 3 hours now. Help and thank you.
