My Facebook account got hacked, and the hacker created a META account with a different email address than mine. Right now I cannot delete that connected account, as they have a two step verification. The email used is also added into my profile. How can I remove it, or can a support help me with that?
I have raised the issue with Facebook support as well but right now no updates on how to delete the account and the hacker's email address connected to the account.
Should be of interest of META to know that someone has a fake account interacting with others using a fake profile.

Hi, I have the same problem. How did you contact FB support - I'm unable to do that. I tried messaging Meta but they say it's a FB problem, even though it's a meta account. I would be interested in hearing if you manage to sort this.
