I’m reaching out for help recovering access to my Facebook account. I lost my phone along with the authenticator app I was using for two-factor authentication (2FA).
I’m able to log in with my correct email and password, and I can reset my password successfully. However, I'm completely stuck at the 2FA step—Facebook is only prompting me for a code from the authenticator app, and no alternative methods (such as SMS, backup codes, or device approval) are available.
I’ve reviewed the Help Center articles and attempted every suggested solution, but I cannot find a way to proceed.
Could you please help me disable 2FA temporarily or verify my identity so I can regain access?
We understand you are having trouble with your two factor authentication however we here on the community forums can’t assist you with this directly.
We can offer support for Meta Quest accounts or Quest device specific issues, but anything related to Facebook account issues we unfortunately don’t have the ability to help with.
