Hi,
I purchased a quest 3 for my son last Christmas and I was the primary account and he is the second added account. He has an also lot of games with add-ons. We had a problem with the battery not holding charge and we now have a new quest 3. I set up my account with no problem but when I go to add an account and input the code I get a message saying an error occurred. I have toggled on in setting allow to add an account and have had multiple chats with support. I have enabled this new device and disabled the old one as well. I did not have a problem adding an account on the original quest 3 but the new one has been challenging. Would anyone be so kind as to possibly provide a solution to adding/merging a second account from a previous device?

Thank you for your reply. I tried the steps but did not work. I do have a question to ask. When I go to add account and the code is generated does my son need to use his own phone? I have been using mine to input the code. Does this matter? Thank you again.

You do not need an additional device to add an account - Although, only one Meta account can be logged in to the Meta Horizon mobile app at a time. If you are using one mobile phone for multiple accounts, you will need to log out of the app before adding additional accounts.
