Air Link and Quest Link Not Working

So I don't know if I'm just being dumb, but I am trying to connect my dell laptop to my quest 2 but it's not working. Is it just because it's a laptop and I don't have the requirements or something else?

Please do let me know because I am lost!

I don't think you're dumb, maybe just a little lazy, lol!  First of all you need to learn to do a bit of google research on this and also for troubleshooting.  Also, if you want a bit of help on this user forum (not a support forum btw) you need to at least include your pc specs and what link cable (for Link) and/or router setup (for Air Link).

Make sure your PC meets the minimum recommended requirements;

Also, keep in mind that laptops can be a bit hit and miss for good PCVR.  Laptop components are always a bit less than their desktop versions so you need to keep this in mind.  For decent PCVR with a laptop you probably need at least a rtx3070 or better gpu and at least 16Gb ram.  Also, some laptop usb3 ports (you need usb3 for Link btw) do not put out enough power so you may need to use an external powered usb3 hub.  If you don't have these specs then you're probably best to just enjoy standalone vr for now imho.

As far as setting up Link/Air Link, there are lots of YouTube videos out there.  Just do a search on YT to find these.

Otherwise, contact meta support including your log files and they may be able to identify problems and maybe walk you through all this.  Good luck mate and cheers.
