Air Link port number?

Does anyone know what wireless port number Air Link uses to communicate with other devices? I am able to connect the Meta Quest 2 headset to my university’s eduroam network, and I am also able to connect my laptop to the same network, but the devices are unable to connect to each other using Air Link on that network. The IT group at my university thinks this is because the port number may be blocked on their eduroam network. If I find out the port number, they can try to unblock this port number.

Thanks very much for your help!

I heard from Meta Store Support about this issue. Here is the relevant part of their reply:

"while we have limited information with regards to the specific port that is needed to open and connect on your Meta Quest 2 and PC using the Air Link, here's the list of available outbound ports that you need to enable for the Wi-Fi to be used for the Air Link and/or Meta Quest Link cable:

    • 443 (TCP)
    • 3478 (TCP)
    • 50000-59999 range (UDP)"

The ranged ports, I can't use because it conflicts with other ports. RIP
