Airlink disconnects during gameplay. Pc/driver/headset/everything is up to date. Brand new 5G router. I will be playing just fine with airlink then all of a sudden it just drops connection. Once it does this it's completely unplayable. I can't even get in an hour session. This only started after meta requires people to create an account, I've had this issue since that update. I didn't have an issue before. bandwidth is set to fixed. Nothing I do seems to fix this. Everything works fine, no lag nothing then randomly out of nowhere POOF! airlink is disconnected. Then when it returns to the home screen my pc is right there, never disconnected or anything. Launches right back up but at this point the headset starts lagging so bad it's unplayable with artifacts everywhere. I don't even have a 50 hours on this headset. It has been a HUGE disappointment. I haven't played it much in the past and was wanting to get back into flight sims. It does this on EVERY game.

Greetings, @Wraithss
Try restarting your headset and your computer. Check for updates just in case. With this is still happening, contact Meta and see how to fix it. Or factory reset you headset (Turn on cloud data to save your data.)

NO, i got a new modem because of this. No change.
NO.
even switched over to steam link. still have issues. either you all sent out an amazingly underpowered VR or you're pulling the old apple by making it run poorly so I will buy a new one. I assure you, this will be my LAST meta product.

It's just a sub par headset that had no business being released, or they're pushing updates so it's obsolete because they want me to buy another one. I exceed ALL OF THEIR REQUIREMENTS by leaps and bounds but I still can't get a stable game since their updates. I can't ever get the stupid lenses clean either. Think I'm just going to sell it.

yeah.. i've done all of that, new router, the quest is so bad that it won't even pair over a straight type C connection.

Greetings @Wraithss
Get in contact with Meta or go to your nearest repair shop and tell them what’s happening.

Hello again @Wraithss! We can align with how you are feeling and are committed to exploring all possible solutions. At this time we want to have you completely disable the Air link and then re-pair it. To do this:
Restart both the Quest and the PC, and re-pair the Quest to the PC following the set-up steps in this article. Once you've given this a try, please get back to us. We look forward to your reply!
