Hi!, I am having an issue with my Quest 3 not finding my PC.
I updated my PC software to the latest Quest Link Software on your website. And my Quest 3 has the latest Public version Software V69.
I have checked my firewall for Quest Link (Meta Remote) is approved for Private and Public network. (I know public isn't recommended, but for the sake of testing it I tried it and had no luck.
And I have disconnected and reconnected both devices on my home network
I have also used the App RouteThis, and no issues found, it detected I am on a mesh network as I use Google WIFI system. But no issues.
I also tried doing a direct wifi connection to the PC from my headset turning-on mobile hotspot on my Surface Pro 8. Had no luck there.
I restarted both headset and PC several times as I tried these different methods.
I uninstalled and reinstalled Quest Link on my PC, and had not success.
I Toggled QuestLink on and off in the settings on the headset.
Made sure AirLink is enabled with looking for PC.
And at this point I don't know what else to try to get it to work on Airlink. I do not have a LinkCable, and don't really want to buy one, I like things to be wireless.
Yes it use to work before. I had old Quest Link platform version 1.15v I believe because the new version doesn't look anything like the old version, I havent used QuestLink in a few months, and decided to update it to try out any new features and was updated a whole new version of Meta Quest Link App Version 69.0.0.501.353

Hey there @Ulysses_Baltazar
Has the Quest Link Application worked previously?
If not it may be due to your PC's Compatibility to run the Quest Link App, you can find more about the minimum and recommended PC specifications here.
If you need further support, you can contact our support team here.
Hope this helps! 🐢

@Ulysses_Baltazar I believe the surface pro 8 only has Intel iris xe integrated graphics and this is not compatible for PCVR using Link or Air Link.

Yes it was working before with my Microsoft Surface Pro 8 when it was Oculus Link v1.5 or so, since it's changed to this Meta Quest Link, it no longer works. I also use Immersed and Virtual Desktop and those work just fine wirelessly. So it's odd that Meta Quest Link simply doesn't find my PC.

Why did it change to only having PC's with Discreet Graphics cards? It use it work just fine before this update. This kinda kills the whole ability to use a Microsoft Surface Laptop while traveling when you need additional displays using Quest Link, it even has the ability to recognize Microsoft Surface Keyboards. I used to use this all the time before this new version of Meta Quest Link.

Link and Air Link have never supported integrated gpu's. You may be able to just project your PC desktop and/or transfer files, but no way you were ever able to stream PCVR games. Maybe try Virtual Desktop for simple desktop screen projection. Maybe do a little more Google research and check with Microsoft Surface Pro 8 user forums.
One thing you may be able to do is get an external gpu connected to your tb3 usb-c port. However, that's a very expensive way to go and this does not always work well.
If you absolutely need a laptop then you'd probably be best to buy one with a discrete gpu, say rtx4070 or better, and at least 16Gb ram.

I think I understand now, what I have been referring to this entire time is Meta Horizon Workspaces. Where I can project my laptop to work in VR, just like in Immersed and Virtual Desktop. I thought that Meta Quest Link is the new version of that. What is Meta Quest Link for?
