So...
Just made the jump from my quest 2 to the quest 3, wow, I should have done it earlier.
Everything runs fine except Airlink, it's completely unusable. the screen just moves around, I have major artifacts and just to close the link it take me forever to be able to click to turn it off.
I did ask help at Meta, they made me give them the logs, and install a help thing on my phone. She tells me everything is ok and to do a reset of the device. So I did that and also i reinstalled the meta PC app.
Still the same thing, can't use it at all. I have a WiFi6e router with a 3gb connection, there is no network problems at all, I get an excellent signal (5g and 2.4g).
I have inserted a video of what is going on, if someone can help, I would really appreciate it.
Thanks

@Madspecv have you tried the wireless SteamLink app or the Virtual Desktop app instead of using AirLink to confirm if its the headset or the router?

Yes, Steamlink and Virtual Desktop work in wireless mode with no problems.

Do you have your PC ethernet wired to your router? This is necessary if you want decent wireless PCVR performance. If you cannot do this you may be best to just use a decent usb3 link cable. Like most, I prefer to be wireless (I mainly use Air Link) but I do use a Link cable for complex sims like msfs2020 because it gives a bit better distance clarity and lower latency.
If other wireless systems work fine then so should Air Link. Looking at your YT vid it looks to me like your encoding bitrate and/or your device graphics settings may be too high. Open the Oculus Debug Tool (google how to find this) and make sure everything are set to defaults/zeros. Also make sure your meta link PC app device graphics settings (refresh rate and res slider) are appropriate for your PC specs and stay away from the 120Hz refresh rate to begin with. Always a good idea to include your PC specs (cpu/gpu/ram) btw.
In any case, if you're happy with Virtual Desktop, maybe just stick with that. It is a little easier to setup than Air Link imho.

@Madspecv have you tried adjusting the bitrate settings for airlink, and do they have any effect?

Yes, my pc is wired via ethernet, 2.5gb connection (3gb connection via Bell Fibe).
PC specs are:
I9 13900K water cooled - RTX 3080 Ti - Asus ROG Maximus Hero Z690 - 32gb 6400 DDR5 - Asus Thor 1200watts PSU - 2TB WD SN850X NVMe.
I already did the debug tool part and also put everything to basic Meta link pc app.

Yes I did, same thing. It works flawlessly with Steam Link so I'm sure the problem is not the headset itself.

I don't know what just happened, but everything is ok now. After 1 week of troubleshooting, it just started to work.
Thanks for the help guys!

Looking at your specs and screenshot I'd recommend you try 80Hz refresh rate with res slider full right. You may need to move the res slider back 2-3 notches if you get some performance issues.
Oculus Debug Tool set distortion = low and change encoding bitrate to 0 (zero). Use the meta link home dashboard far left icon to set your Air Link bitrate. I suggest your set it to 200mbps Dynamic (not fixed).
Try all that and see how you go.
