All my games and apps dissapered from oculus quest why our PAID GAMES are linked to oculus servers?

Yesterday i was about to use my quest and all my games and apps where gone, i tried everything from restarting to logging out and then in to my account. Searching reddit and other stites, i learned that OUR PAID games are linked to the oculus servers and that gets me very mad. How is it that something that we paid for is dependant on the servers of the seller, what about if at some point all the web goes down, then, are we fucked without our games we paid for? is like buyin the old disk games and haveing the company just go into our houses and take those away just because THEY are having issues with their system.

Is not fair, and i will be looking if it is LEGAL. i have bought more than 40 games between my oculus go and oculus quest. We all have to say something about this so we can be sure our purchases are safely ours, not theirs.

Anyway, have someone foud a FIX for this yet?

The problem is solved but WAIT. In my case they replay about the solution and it worked for a few minutes. After that libraries disappered again.
I talk to support and they ask to send them a log. After that now the libraries are still working well. Hope this issue will be solved FOREVER!

LOL where has this guy been for the past 15 years you realize every piece of software you buy is licensed and not owned by you, right? it's been that way for decades at this point

oculus servers have trouble for a day and you get this imagine if steam went down for an hour LMAO

It's been longer than a day; many of us have had this issue for a week or more.

Sounds like some server issues then, which is very annoying there aren't redundancies. Probably the specific regions don't have any redundancies when there really should be. Is there a common tie to the regions y'all are in? That might help them isolate it.

I asked about regions in another thread, unfortunately there are 5 threads on the issue so it's a little harder for community help to draw conclusions when info get's spread across the different threads.

The most viewed thread is this one (and I think it was the first):
https://forums.oculusvr.com/community/discussion/89943/game-libraries-have-disappeard/p2
Can I ask that this thread be used rather than the others? it can help, not just with this issue but it also helps avoid other people's threads from disappearing too quickly down the lists.

Anyway, so far there have been a total of 14 people report this problem across all the threads and the problem began 5 days ago on 29th May (unless I've missed a post).

I'm not sure how that number translates to total people affected as I'm sure that some people don't join a forum to report and maybe just submit a ticket without posting here. But I'm kind of thinking there would have been more people if it was server related? just my thoughts.

Oculus
refused me the refund of my games while I bought them less than two
weeks ago and could not even play at all for the most part since Oculus
did not work.... There is not even any justification for this refusal. So
again in discussions with the support... I have never seen this, I took
games at Oculus not even two weeks ago and I struggle with the support,
when it answers, for a week and a half!

I have the same issue my games no longer show in the library. So what now do we just wait till this is resolved?

It would be interesting to see a breakdown by country; and then compare it to the authorized country list.  My hypothesis is either the 14 users are trying to use the devices from unauthorized countries, or their real names are on some kind of undesirable persons list.
