An app on my Oculus Quest 2 has been updating for a week

Recently Rec room on my quest 2 started an update and hasn't stopped for about a week. The app keeps saying that the update is installing but it's been that way and it hasn't fully installed. I'm not sure what to do as I've tried to find a way to cancel the update to no avail. This is causing problems because now other apps and software aren't able to update without this one finishing but as far as I know it will never be finished.

Hey there, we see your Rec Room update is stalling and others doing the same as well. We're happy to help you get back to enjoying your device. We would like for you to make sure your Cloud Backup is enabled then perform a factory reset. Updates should resume after these steps. You do not need to reset your headset.

After some research, I found that Pshemson found that CptCheez's solution for being stuck uninstalling an app also works for this problem. I tried it myself and it does work! This solution does require developer mode for Sidequest to be able to access the Quest 2's files.

From Pshemson:
