Another child's account suspended

I'm absolutely lived. My son used all his savings to buy himself a quest 2 on Christmas. Had him set up as a child account under mine and after turning 13 on the 31st and given full control over his account he's now being forced to prove his identity or have his account suspended. How many 13yo have valid IDs? Why do I have no say as a parent as to what products he's allowed to use. I can deny games but can't verify his age? Why transfer control of an account just to suspend it right away with no recourse? Are you expecting birth certificates?! So angry at this theft. You've robbed a child of his entire savings. You've robbed a grandfather of the money he spent to buy games for his grandson.

I agree with you wholeheartedly. I am fighting the same issue now for my son, and there is no way to talk to anyone live. Just an endless list of FAQs and I guess now posting in the community forum. I appreciate that they 'want to keep the kids safe', but that seems to be my job not theirs.

Having the same issue as well. Different circumstances but same issue. My son's account was suspended due to age, can't get a live person to help, it's been over a week and we've spent over $400 on the VR and games

Can I get assistance too? I've emailed and sent a pm, first one was over a week ago and no response. We spent a lot of money on something my son can't even use now. 

Don't bother. Their "assistance" is garbage and absolutely worthless

Or VR is linked to my son's account. I went into the Mets store using his login info and reported a problem with the account. It said that they try to get back to you with 24-48 hours. I reported a problem with his account last night and he got an email back at 1am from someone trying to assist. I just emailed then back but it appears it's a real person. Hopefully this will get fixed soon
