So I have a 6EdgePlus and have been using my GearVR for months without a hiccup. However after updating my phone to 6.0.1, my GearVR has been rendered useless. Here's how it goes: I plug my phone into the headset, I hear the Oculus sound prompt, put the headset on, see a black screen (the one with the little white x), and then within a second or two the phone reverts back to my default home screen. I have been at this for over a week and have engaged in all manner of troubleshooting. I uninstalled the software and reinstalled it numerous times. I have wiped the cache. I have done a factory reset. Nothing works, the described problem persists. Is anyone else been plagued by the same phenomenon? I have searched all over the web and haven't been able to find anyone experiencing this exact same problem. Anyways, thank you in advance to anyone willing impart some advice or help me troubleshoot this thing. Cheers!
