I'm at a loss of words. My meta-app asked me out of the blue for my date of birth. I put my DOB... then it suspends me for being underage as it picked up as me being "0 years old." I would love to show my ID so I could prove this wrong, but... since it suspended my FB account as well, I physically cannot log into my Meta account as I used my FB account to create. SOOO now I'm quite literally at a dead end. How is it possible that Meta's app developers mistake costs me my FB account and Meta account that I've had for 4+ years as well as my oculus quest that cost me $500+? I just created this Meta account to post this because I cannot log into the one that got suspended for the reason I just stated. What a disaster...
I wish you the best , my son who is ten got banned and he had gotten the new vr upgraded him for his birthday in February we’re going on almost a year of trying to get his account back . There’s absolutely no help besides us being told we need to find an email and they can’t resend it so we can appeal it … I guess it was sent in March ? He can’t even use his headset it’s bricked . So it’s been sitting for almost a year . I’ve messaged and messaged and messaged they will not do anything besides ask me tons of information I’ve already gave and then they say sorry we can’t do anything .
