Hi all,
Hoping for some help please.
I bought my son an Oculus 2 for xmas.
I set up the Oculus using my own account before Xmas day and purchased a couple of games (Beat Saber & Super Hot) so that he could start playing it straight out the box on the day.
I have now set up his own account on the headset and I have enabled app sharing in the settings menu.
However, the games aren't showing up under his account and it looks like I have to re-purchase them (it's asking for payment methods). I don't want to put any payment methods under his account because from what I've read if he purchased a game then it doesn't share with the other accounts on the device. Apparently all purchases need to be done using the primary account (mine).
Any ideas why he can't see the already purchased apps undr his account?

Hi, I had the same issue. Turning main account sharing mode off and then back on again after each new account added seemed to work for me. Annoyingly though extra songs purchased in beat sabre aren't sharable!
Good luck.

Hey SaffaGee, thanks for bringing this to our attention. We understand your concern with not being able to use app sharing properly. It is one of the coolest features and we want to help you! With Meta Quest, you can share eligible apps with additional accounts on your device. Additional accounts can only access shared apps on the device where app sharing is turned on. Currently, only the admin account can share apps on a device. You can switch and set admin accounts by following these directions. Additional accounts can purchase their own apps, but those apps will not be shared with other accounts on the device. If you log into another device as an additional account, you will have access to all the apps and experiences you’ve purchased.

We tried this, turned sharing off and back on and it’s still not working 😥 it lets me approve the app for their account but then says “pending purchase” even though we purchased it on my main account. Does any one have any new tricks for this? It seems it’s still not fixed

Hi again, @kimi.martin9! We're following up to see how those steps worked out. Please also keep in mind, only the admin account can share apps on one device. If you're still having issues, we'll be happy to look into the best next steps!
