Apps won't launch

Hello All,

 

I have been unable to get my quest3 to launch any apps. I get a boop sound and nothing happens. The horizon feed never seems to load, the store won't load either.

I have tried different networks and nothing seems to make a difference. I factory reset, but the setup process was lengthy as it took multiple tries for it to be successful. 

 

When I finally got through the setup, the same issues persisted. I have Uninstaller and re-installed the quest app as well. 

I am on software version 64.0.0.504

Hey there, @mig1230. We see your Meta Quest 3 won't launch any apps. We know you want to be able to hop into VR and enjoy your quest 3, so we're happy to do what we can here! We do have a few other things we can suggest for you!

 

First, We'll try Power cycling your headset

 

  1. Hold the power button down until the shutdown options appear.
  2. Power off the headset. Do a full shutdown, not just a restart.
  3. Wait 30 seconds.
  4. Power the headset back on.

If there's no luck with that, we're try Logging out of the accounts:

 

  1. Hold the power button down until the shutdown options appear.
  2. Power off the headset. Do a full shutdown, not just a restart.
  3. Log out of the Meta Quest mobile app.
  4. Restart the mobile phone.
  5. Log in to the Meta Quest mobile app.
  6. Power the headset back on.

Hello, the power cycle option seems to have made the scenario worse.

 

After attempting to turn the quest 3 on, I waited 2 minutes before trying by the way, I saw the spinning meta symbol. 

 

Then the 3 dots indicating loading flashed for a second or so.

 

Then black screen and nothing. Nothing seems to work now. The remotes did rumble to indicate connection, but no long function in this black screen. 

 

Short pressing the power button does turn the screens off, but short pressing it again brings me back to a black screen.

 

I long pressed until it shut down, but re starting it leads back to a black screen.

The headset cannot be found and thus does not allow me to go to the settings of the headset, unfortunately.

i have the same issues, apps won't launch.. tried everything no success. does anyone found a solution for it?
